Clean the microwave
Heat a small bowl of water in the microwave for 3 minutes. Let it sit for 3 minutes so the steam will help loosen any dried-on food particles.
Wipe out the microwave with hot, soapy water.
Don't forget the door, inside and out, number pad, and top!

Clean flatware tray and organize.
Remove flatware (spoons, forks, butter knives, etc) from the plastic tray and wash tray with warm soapy water.
Return flatware and put it back in the drawer.
Get rid of any unused or unlike pieces and donate later.
